Synopsis
Set in post 9/11 Afghanistan after the American-led campaign to oust the Taliban regime has begun, KABUL EXPRESS is a drama spanning 48 hours of five individuals linked by hate and fear, but brought together by fate to finally recognize each other.
Suhel (John Abraham) and Jai (Arshad Warsi) are TV journalists from India in search of the ultimate news scoop: meeting the Taliban. Khyber (Hanif Hum Ghum) is their proud Afghan guide, translator and driver of a jeep called the Kabul Express, who has seen his country ravaged by war over the past decades. Jessica Beckham (Linda Arsenio) is an American photojournalist who's putting her life on the line to get photographs of the Taliban. Imran Khan Afridi (Salman Shahid) is a Taliban fleeing angry Afghans and trying to escape across the border to his home country, Pakistan.
