Synopsis

At the age of 18, Johnny Knoxville moved from his native Tennessee to pursue a career in acting in California. He supported himself by appearing in commercials and freelance writing jobs for such magazines as Blunt, Bikini, and Big Brother. In 1998, Knoxville teamed up with Jeff Tremaine of Big Brother, and the two went on to create and produce the cultural blight forever known as "jackass."

Johnny Knoxville and his crew of crazies take the concept of the MTV show 'Jackass' - a bunch of guys doing dangerous and disturbing stunts just to see what happens - and turn it into a movie. Here they can get away with more than they could on TV, including a climatic stunt of immense insanity.
