Synopsis

Eager for a fresh start - that's Nicky Burkett (Chjwetel Ejiofor), just out of jail and never planning to go back. He's got a lot to stay straight for - his kid, Danny, for one thing and beautiful, sassy, policeman's daughter, Noreen Hurlock (Thandie Newton), for another. But chance has other plans for Nicky.
