Synopsis

Happily married to Brenda (Gina Torres) and with two children, life for investment banker Richard Cooper (Chris Rock) is fairly good. His wife is busy raising their two children, running the household and also has her own fulfilling career.

Then Richard's humdrum life is interrupted by a stunning, old friend, Nikki (Kerry Washington), who walks into his office unexpectedly asking for help in finding a job.

Gradually he starts to meet Nikki during the day when there's a lull in his workload and his predictable daily work routine goes out the window.
