Synopsis
IF I DIDN'T CARE is a Hitchcockian film noir/thriller set in the exclusive resort community of The Hamptons starring Bill Sage (HEAVENS FALL), Roy Scheider (THE PUNISHER), Susie Misner (THE HOAX), Noelle Beck (TRUST THE MAN) and Ronald Guttman. The film weaves the tale of trophy husband David Meyers's (Bill Sage) ill-fated attempt to produce an heir that leads to infidelity, murder and tragic consequences as local investigator Linus (Roy Scheider) takes on the case.
The film was shot entirely on location in New York and the Hamptons. It was written, directed and produced by the brother team of Benjamin Cummings & Orson Cummings and shot entirely on location in New York and the Hamptons, the home of the Cummings Brothers. While filming, the Cummings brothers made every effort to capture the picturesque setting and watering holes of the Hamptons to create the feel of a classic film noir in the style of the '40s and '50s.
