Synopsis

Dr. Seuss' classic tale HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS was first published in 1957 and despite attempts over the years since to secure the motion picture rights from the author Theodor S Geisel (Dr Seuss), it is not until now that it has happened. Audrey Geisel, the widow of the late Dr. Seuss has entrusted her husband's legacy to producer Brian Grazer (APOLLO 13, THE NUTTY PROFESSOR) and director Ron Howard (SPLASH, WILLOW COCOON).

And who better to embody the role of the Grinch - that nefarious, flagitious, mischievous, sly, nasty, troublesome, bad-tempered, unkind, intolerant, utterly irredeemable, foul-smelling and just plain not very nice Grinch - than the outrageously talented Jim Carrey? Narrated by Anthony Hopkins.
