Synopsis

"The odds are against him. So is everyone else."

From the producers of BRAVEHEART and APOCALYPTO, the film stars Mel Gibson as Driver, a career criminal on the run from the authorities. When he's arrested by the Mexican police, Driver ends up serving his sentence in the notoriously hard prison, El Pueblito.

As an outsider, the other inmates instantly take a dislike to the gringo and are going to give him a rough and dangerous ride. Then a young kid (Kevin Hernadez) befriends him and starts to show him how to survive inside El Pueblito...
