Synopsis
Shot on location in Morocco and Spokane, Washington, HOME OF THE BRAVE is a drama based on soldiers returning from tours of duty in Iraq and then trying to overcome debilitating stress and anxiety as they attempt to readjust back to normal life and takes up the stories of four homecoming soldiers as they try to pick up their lives from where they left.
A medical captain (Samuel L Jackson) returns to his former duties as a doctor but is anguished by the lives he couldn't save during combat. Wounded female soldier Vanessa Price (Jessica Biel) carrying the scars of war has to emotionally and physical adapt to life back home. Jamal Atkins (Curtis Jackson) who killed an Iraqi woman during combat is tormented by this tragedy and has a daily battle with keeping his anger in check. Lastly specialist Tommy (Brian Presley) whose best friend died in his arms during a battle in Iraq returns to the States only to feel motivated to go back war and support his comrades still out there.
