Synopsis

HEIGHTS follows five characters over 24 hours on a fall day in New York City.

Isabel (Elizabeth Banks) a young photographer is having doubts about her forthcoming marriage to Jonathan (James Marsden), a lawyer.

Diana (Glenn Close), Isabel's mother, discovers her husband has a new lover which starts her thinking about their open marriage and what she wants from life.

Diana and Isabel cross paths with Alec (Jesse Bradford) who is a young actor and Peter (John Light), a journalist.

The interrelated stories unfold revealing the connections between the five characters...

HEIGHTS, directed by newcomer Chris Terrio stars Glenn Close, Elizabeth Banks, James Marsden, Jesse Bradford, Matt Davis Isabella Rossellini and George Segal. HEIGHTS is produced by New York based Merchant Ivory Productions and was shot entirely in New York City in the fall of 2003.
