Synopsis

Based on a chilling true story, THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT charts one family's terrifying, real-life encounter with the dark forces of the supernatural.

When Sara (Virginia Madsen) and Peter Campbell's (Martin Donovan) son Matt (Kyle Gallner), is diagnosed with cancer, they uproot their family and move to upstate Connecticut for his treatment. Matt grows increasingly disturbed by paranormal activity that seems to inhabit and possess the house, and the Campbell family soon learn that their charming Victorian home has a disturbing history.

The house had previously been transformed into a funeral parlor where inconceivable acts occurred, and not only that but the owner's clairvoyant son Jonah (Erik J Berg) served as a demonic messenger, providing a gateway for spiritual entities to crossover.

At a loss to help her frightened family, Sara turns to an enigmatic priest who appears to rid the house of its ghosts-- until Matt's condition takes a sudden and unexplained turn for the worse and their lives are put in grave danger.

Now unspeakable terror awaits, as Jonah, the boy who communicated with the dead, returns to unleash a new kind of horror on the innocent and unsuspecting family.
