Synopsis
Adapted from the children's novels by J K Rowling, HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE follows the adventures of an eleven year-old boy called Harry Potter who lives with his horrible aunt and uncle after the mysterious deaths of his parents. When he reaches his eleventh birthday he is invited to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a boarding school where he can escape from his aunt and uncle and there he begins to make his first real friends and discover his powers. While there Harry uncovers an exceptionally evil wizard's plot to steal the philosopher's stone, which has the power to give eternal life to its owner.
