Synopsis

This debut feature from director Laurent Firode is set in Paris. HAPPENSTANCE follows a day in the lives of several characters. They all partly interweave with each other but the movie explores the repercussions that result from even the most minor reaction to, or their response to someone or something that appears seemingly insignificant and follows the ripple as it fans out, showing how if can have greater implications that can affect other peoples' lives.
