Synopsis

Set in the Sinai Desert, mother and successful author Liz is searching for her daughter Rachel (Orli Perl). Despite her daughter's objections, Liz stays at the beach where she meets a Bedouin. He recounts an unusual story of a love affair that develops between a Western tourist, Layla (Meital Duhan) and the son of a Bedouin Sheik named Najim (Juliano Mer) whose relationship falls apart when Layla is exposed to a female circumcision ceremony.
