Synopsis

Agent Maxwell Smart (Steve Carell), who works for the covert US spy agency CONTROL, is sent on his most dangerous mission to date - to thwart the evil crime syndicate known as KAOS in their quest for world domination at any cost.

In action/comedy GET SMART, the headquarters of CONTROL are attacked and the identities of most of its operatives exposed. The Chief (Alan Arkin) is subsequently forced into the decision of promoting his enthusiastic analyst Maxwell Smart (Steve Carell) into field ops. For Smart who has always dreamt of working with his idol Agent 23 (Dwayne Johnson) this is an unbelievable opportunity not to be missed but is instead partnered with the lovely but lethal Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway), the only other sole agent whose identity remains secret.

While Smart and 99 get closer to discovering KAOS' master plan - and each other - they unmask key KAOS operative Siegfried (Terence Stamp) and his partner Shtarker (Ken Davitian) who are working to their own terror agenda within KAOS.

With no field experience save for a few spy-tech gadgets, it is ultimately up to Smart spurred on by his enduring enthusiasm to defeat KAOS and come out on top...
