Synopsis
Nick Vincent took the fall and has just served eight years in prison after being convicted of several armed robberies courtesy of an unknown informant, while his accomplice - police officer Manny Breen - remained at large. On his release Nick travels to LA and starts living with his ex-girlfriend Maria De Razio (who also happens to be Manny's ex-wife) and her eight year-old daughter Ally. She agrees to help him despite her argumentative relationship with her ex-husband Manny.
The apartment block that Maria lives in is owned by an ex-con, Harry Koslow and he becomes the main police suspect and is targeted for police surveillance after a series of thefts. This leads the police to suspect Nick and Harry are in cahoots with each other and Manny is far from pleased that he is being excluded from this suspected partnership.
