Synopsis
In the smoking pits of high schools and on the tailgates of pick-up trucks in stadium parking lots across North America, there exists a breed of long-haired culture rebels known as Headbangers. FUBAR asks: who is that guy with a six-pack of cans riding a beat-up 10-speed and why does he have that haircut?
Written and directed by Michael Dowse and written by and starring Paul Spence and Dave Lawrence, FUBAR is a riotous comedy following the exploits of two hard-drinking, rock and roll everymen. Terry and Dean are lifelong friends who have grown-up together: shot-gunning their first beers, exploring the healing power of heavy metal, and growing the great Canadian mullet known as "hockey hair". Now the lives of these quintessential Canadians are brought to the big screen by "documentarian" Farrel Mitchner in an exploration of the depths of friendship, the fragility of life, growing up gracefully, and the art and science of drinking beer like a man.
