Synopsis
Nixon remained silent for three years after being forced from office until the summer of 1977 when he agreed to one all-inclusive interview to answer questions of his time in office and the Watergate scandal. His surprise choice of interviewer was the British showman David Frost as he felt confident at outfoxing him and winning back support in the hearts and minds of Americans.
Frost team also doubted their boss' ability at pulling the interview off but what was to result from this encounter was a charged battle of wits.
From screenwriter Peter Morgan, FROST/NIXON is the electrifying battle between these two. Frank Langelia reprises his role from Morgan's stage play and won a TONY for his portrayal of Nixon, as does Michael Sheen in his role as Frost. Helmed by Oscar winning director Ron Howard.
