Synopsis

"When love suddenly arrives... when obstacles arrive... what does one do?"

FOOL FOR LOVE centres on the quest of an earnest bathroom clerk named Dung (Dustin Nguyen) as he falls in love and decides to leave his job at a five-star hotel to pursue the affections of a beautiful lounge singer, Mai (played by Kathy Uyen).

The trouble is that she’s already being chased by a wealthy real estate executive whose willingness to employ her depends on her willingness to date him. Comedy ensues when Dung is forced to shack up with a very rich but very gay businessman named Hoi (Thai Hoa), which gives Dung some much needed money to pursue Mai.

Thus both Dung and Mai find themselves in the same predicament of having to choose between true love and financial security, so will love prevail in the end?
