Synopsis
FLAWLESS, a clever diamond-heist thriller set in London during the swinging 1960s, stars Demi Moore as Laura Quinn, a bright, ambitious and beautiful executive at the London Diamond Corporation. However after years of faithful employment she finds herself increasingly frustrated as male employees are promoted ahead of her despite her greater experience.
Hobbs (Michael Caine), the night shift janitor at London Diamond, is virtually invisible to the executives that work there. Over the years though he has amassed a startling amount of knowledge about how the company runs and has his own bone to pick with London Diamond.
Picking up on Laura's frustration, he convinces her to help him execute an ingenious plan to steal a thermos full of diamonds, not enough to be missed in the mighty vault, but enough for Hobbs and Laura to live comfortably for the rest of their lives.
But of course, things don't go as smoothly as planned, and the two find themselves in the midst of an intense investigation, led by the driven Detective Finch (Lambert Wilson), who, despite an instant chemistry with Laura, will stop at nothing to solve the crime.
Directed by Michael Radford (THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, IL POSTINO) the movie was filmed on location in London, England and Luxembourg.
