Synopsis

A documentary, FIGHTER is a psychological adventure that unfolds as two friends - 77 year-old Jan Wiener and 72 year-old Arnost Lustig - take a risky road trip into the past returning to Czechoslovakia from where they managed to escape from concentration camps and flee Europe for the USA. Together they revisit scenes of romance and humor, of narrow escapes and life-or-death confrontations. But their journey home becomes a contentious clash of personalities that will ultimately take their friendship to the brink of collapse.
