Synopsis

Married to a career woman, Tom (Zach Braff) has taken a back seat and let his wife Sofia (Amanda Peet), who's a successful lawyer, be the main income earner. But their roles change when his now pregnant wife decides she wants to stay at home and look after their baby.

The pressure mounts on Tom when he is fired from his New York job and reluctantly begins working for his father-in-law (Charles Grodin) in Ohio where Sofia grew up. Personalities soon clash at his new job, especially with Chip (Jason Bateman), who knew Sofia well from their high school days.

Meanwhile motherhood for Sofia is not quite going to plan and she is becoming restless staying home with their new baby. All these pressures start to build and come to a head in this comedy from director Jesse Peretz.
