Synopsis

Jay (Andrew Cisneros), a young Latino musician, lives in the Bronx. Keen to pursue his creative side and love for music, Jay meets the beautiful Manhattanite Alessandra (Jenna Dewan) who helps him focus on his ambitions and realise his musical dreams.

Loyal to his friends and ex-Marine brother, his father has many expectations for Jay, but Jay wants to break free of the anger and violence that flare up in his life and in his neighborhood. With Alessandra's help he discovers that only love gives him the strength to find happiness and understanding to help him move forward and take that first uncertain step to a new future.
