Synopsis

Rita (Callie Thorne) is a single mother fighting for survival and determined to make a better life for herself and her adolescent son, Matt (Rufus Read). After landing a job as a meter maid, her relationship with her son becomes increasingly strained. As she struggles to protect him from the secrets of her past, Rita comes to the realisation that she and Matt are on a collision course with destiny.
