Synopsis

Chad filmmaker Mahamat-Saleh Haroun (ABOUNA) now contributes an even more moving tale of revenge and redemption to the multi-award-winning 'New Crowned Hope' series of films inspired by ideas and themes that preoccupied Mozart in his final works.

With his mind set on revenge, a young boy called Atim (Ali Barkai) embarks on a mission to exact justice against his father's murderer, as tradition dictates and with the blessing of his grandfather, Gumar Abatcha (Khayar Oumar Defallah). So in spite of a post-civil war amnesty, Atim proceeds to uncover the truth from his number one suspect who is a baker - Nassara (Youssouf Djaoro). However Nassara confounds Atim by not only offering him a job but also seems a very kind and devout person - not your stereotypical murderer....
