Synopsis

Steve Carell, one of Hollywood's leading comedians stars in the hilarious comedy that's 'smart, sophisticated and packed with charm' (Closer) DAN IN REAL LIFE.

Advice columnist and widow Dan Burns (Steve Carell) is an expert on relationships but somehow struggles to succeed as a brother, a son and a single parent to three precocious daughters. Dan is a would be perfect dad, if only he followed his own advice.

Family mayhem ensues at a weekend get-together in the country and things become even more complicated when Dan finds out that the woman he met and fell for earlier in the day turns out to be his brother's new girlfriend. Cue an acutely embarrassing weekend as the pair try to hide their true feelings for each other.

The film is written and directed by Academy Award© nominee Pete Hedges (ABOUT A BOY). Steve Carell (THE 40 YEAR-OLD VIRGIN), stars in the hilarious, smart and sophisticated comedy.
