Synopsis

A reclusive loner, Karrer (Miklos Szekely), falls in love with a cabaret singer (Vali Kerekes) at his local bar. Unable to find a way to create a relationship with her he gets her husband involved in a smuggling scheme that sends him away from home for a few days. His plan backfires and he is rejected by the singer and the regulars of the bar only to return to wandering the lonely and desolate landscape.
