Synopsis

Twelve-year-old Maddy (Kirsten Stewart, Panic Room, Cold Creek Manor) and her dad (Sam Robards, AI: Artificial Intelligence) have always shared a love of mountain climbing. While on the trip of a lifetime to Mount Everest, Maddy's dad had a terrible accident, falling 100 feet and injuring his spine. Though he seemed to have recovered, a sudden relapse leaves him paralysed and confined to a hospital bed. His only hope of walking again is to have an operation that proves to be more expensive than Maddy's family could ever afford. Determined to save her Dad and get him the operation he desperately needs, Maddy and her two best friends, Gus (Max Thieriot) and Austin (Corbin Bleu) set out on a MISSION...WITHOUT PERMISSION!

The kids are each specialists in their own fields - a rock climber, a mechanical whiz and a computer genius. Together, they concoct a foolproof and ingenious plan to rob one of the world's most impenetrable banks. State-of-the-art security systems, patrolling guards with dogs and a vault suspended 100 feet from the ground? No problem!!

In their attempt to break into the bank, Maddy and her crew must overcome the bank's hi-tech security system... designed by Maddy's own Mum (Jennifer Beals, Flashdance)! Using the amazing climbing skills she has learnt from her Dad, Maddy must succeed in her mission... as the consequences of failure are just too much for her to bear.
