Synopsis

Based on a true story, BRONSON both written and directed by Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn (FEAR X, PUSHER trilogy), stars English actor Tom Hardy (THICK AS THIEVES) in the title role who in 1974 as a nineteen year-old teenager Charles Bronson, who after an attempted armed raid on a post office lands himself in jail.

However, his original 7-year sentence has protracted to 34 years, 30 in solitary confinement - the result of Bronson's insatiable need for attention seeking celebrity. This bizarre notoriety that he constantly strives to uphold has kept him in jail thus far.
