Synopsis
Cult 60s classic BRONCO BULLFROG was mainly improvised by a non-professional cast of teenagers from Stratford, East London. Slightly based on events that had occurred to the actors, the film is a lively and unique depiction of late 60s London.
Young teenager lovers, 17 year-old Del Quant (Del Walker) and 15 year-old Irene Richardson (Anne Gooding) have no money and nowhere to go. Del's dad (Dick Philpott) is resentful and suspicious while Irene's tightly wound mum (Freda Shepherd) doesn’t help the situation. Instead they seek out their old friend 'Bronco Bullfrog', recently out of Borstal who’s already making an enviably independent lifestyle for himself.
