Synopsis
THE BROKEN HEARTS CLUB is a perceptive, life-affirming character study of a group of friends living in Los Angeles. With the language of romance and comedy being universal, the film captures the personal struggles of a group of gay men, while celebrating the highs and lows of friendship and how those very relationships can often transcend the boundaries of a traditional family. At the centre of the story is Dennis (Timothy Olyphant), a West Hollywood photographer who is about to celebrate his 28th birthday and who is reflecting upon his life, his friends and the challenges and support they provide.
