Synopsis

Set in the mysterious Highlands of Scotland, BRAVE is a great adventure that follows the courageous Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) who challenges tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts.

Merida, the daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson), is a skilled archer. An impulsive and feisty girl, she is determined to create her own opportunities in life.

When Merida goes against an ancient custom, she inadvertently unleashes chaos and fury in the kingdom. She seeks out an eccentric old Wise Woman (voice of Julie Walters) for help, who grants an ill-fated wish. In a race against the time, Merida has to face the dangerous consequences of her actions and discover the meaning of true bravery to overcome and undo a beastly curse.
