Synopsis

Three brothers from County Clare, Ireland have played Ceili music since they were born, but after years of sibling rivalry they've gone their separate ways.

After 30 odd years, they're converging in their hometown to compete in Ireland's biggest Ceili competition and they're prepared to lie, cheat and steal to win. But when their prodigies meet outside the competition, allegiance is tested and secrets are revealed as everyone begins to realize how hard it is to change the past.

Proving all's fair in love and war, THE BOYS & GIRL FROM COUNTY CLARE reaffirms that despite a little fiddling rivalry, the only way to win is to play from the heart.

Starring Andrea Corr, the internationally famous lead singer of the Irish band, The Corrs, in her first leading role in a motion picture. Also starring Colm Meaney, Bernard Hill and Patrick Bergin, the film is directed by John Irvin and written by the renowned traditional Irish musical instrument maker Nicholas Adams.
