Synopsis

Written, directed and co-produced by Steve Cantor, BOUNCE: BEHIND THE VELVET ROPE
premiered at the 2000 Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award for Best Feature Film and is a documentary about the role bouncers play on the nightclub scene and interviews bouncers who talk about why they are attracted to this profession.

Filmed at clubs in New York and London the bouncers that take part in the film include: the hot-headed, bloodthirsty Jordan; twins and best friends Mike and Frank DeMaio; Terence "Black Prince" Buckley, who has aspirations to work for a prestigious Manhattan establishment so he can treat his mother to the red BMW she's always wanted and the renowned but now retired bouncer Lenny McLean aka "The Guv'nor," a veteran of over 20,000 bar room fights, with the scars to prove it!
