Synopsis

AUGUST stars Josh Hartnett as Tom Sterling, an aggressive, young dot-com entrepreneur who is fighting to keep his start-up company afloat. Tom finds himself on both a personal and professional downward spiral.

Not only is he trying to save his relationship and reunite with his girlfriend, Sarrah (Naomie Harris) but he is also attempting to regain control of his company from his apathetic investor Ogilvie (David Bowie). To add even more strife to his already complicated life he has to deal with age-old family wounds involving his father, David (Rip Torn) and his brother Joshua (Adam Scott).
