The sequel to ARE WE THERE YET?, ARE WE DONE YET? finds that Suzanne (Nia Long) and Nick Persons (Ice Cube) have relocated having quit the bustle of city life they are now living in a quiet location in suburbia. There's more space for their kids Lindsey (Aleisha Allen) and Kevin (Philip Daniel Bolden) in their new house too.

But their suburban tranquillity becomes fraught with problems as their new house increasingly becomes a burden. Unfortunately things constantly need fixing on it. Enter eccentric handyman, Chuck (John C McGinley), who rapidly sets about diminishing Nick's quality of life with the constant upheaval of repairs and Nick's suburban dream descends into a riotous nightmare.

When Suzanne drops the bombshell that she is pregnant something has to give. Their idea of a dream home is turned upside down by the local wildlife, the amount of work that needs doing and the crazy contractor they hire to do it, John C. Mcginley (Wild Hogs, TV's Scrubs) in a brilliant star turn as Chuck Mitchell Jr., the builder with a bizarre approach to home improvement.

Will the Persons' family realise their dream and finish the house before the family expands? Are We Done Yet? is a hilarious, slapstick comedy that proves a move to the country and a bigger house does not automatically mean an easier life.
