Synopsis

Set in Uganda and commissioned by the UN's International Fund for Agricultural Development to highlight a programme of teaching self-help and home econmics to women who agree to adopt orphans, the director Abbas Kiarostami shows in this documentary a very unsentimental picture of the plight of these Ugandan children and their suffering.
