Review:
The second volume of the tenth and final season of STARGATE SG1 features the episodes UNINVITED, 200, COUNTERSTRIKE and MEMENTO MORI. While these are all excellent episodes the most outstanding is 200. While it's got nothing to do with the seasons overall storyline, just seeing the cast take the roles of so many of the best characters in television sci-fi is a real treat and I had a smile on my face right the way through. The highlights for me were the STAR TREK and FARSCAPE moments - a touch of genius!
UNINVITED
Mitchell and Landry go to Jack's cabin in the woods to to get to know each other with the intention of the rest of the team joining them later. However while there an invisible creature is watching them and is responsible for attacking local hunters.
200
This is the fantastic two hundredth episode and stands alone from the overall storyline of season ten. The SG1 team are asked to come up with ideas for a movie script for the television series Wormhole Extreme which is produced by the alien Martin Lloyd. All of the ideas are acted out by SG-1's cast and are based on real sci-fi TV shows including STAR TREK and FARSCAPE!
COUNTERSTRIKE
The people of an Ori occupied planet are wiped out and Adria wants to find the location of the new weapon.
MEMENTO MORI
Vala loses her memory and finds herself working as a waitress in a diner.
