Review:
The second disc in Season 5 contains features another four very different episodes including what seems to be the return of Elizabeth Weir in GHOST IN THE MACHINE. Interestingly Torri Higginson who originally played Weir turned down the chance to return so the plot was reworked to use the very attractive Michelle Morgan who previously played Rodney's replicator creation Fran.

THE SHRINE sees Rodney slowly loosing his mind while whispers goes down the horror story route with villagers disappearing in the night time fog and mutants jumping out of the darkness.

Finally THE QUEEN brings Wraith Todd back into the story and Teyla getting prosthetics to make her look like a very plausible Wraith.

GHOST IN THE MACHINE
A disembodied Elizabeth Weir along with her rebel replicator crew haunt Atlantis shutting down it's systems and possibly threatening the lives of everyone on Atlantis.

THE SHRINE
Rodney is infected with a parasite that gradually gives him a form of dementia. His only hope is to return to a planet they have visited to visit a shrine in search of a cure.

WHISPERS
Sheppard and his team visit a planet where villagers are terrified to go out at night. It seems Michael had conducted his early experiment there and left behind mutants that were once villagers he had experimented on.

THE QUEEN
Keller may have found a way to treat the Wraith so they have no need to feed on humans. Teyla goes undercover to pose as Todd's missing Wraith queen.
