Review:

Season 4's third disc starts off with MILLER'S CROSSING which is a stand alone episode set on Earth with Rodney's sister guest starring. It's another good episode and a change of scenery for Rodney which fits nicely in with the current overall story arc while breaking away temporarily from the Atlantis storyline. The treat on this disc though are the other three episodes which although individual are actually a three part adventure which we only usually get at the end of a season and the start of the next.

The adventure starts with THIS MORTAL COIL where all is not as it seems as we realise Sheppard and his team are on a duplicate Atlantis. The twist though which is revealed later in the episode (spoiler alert) is that Sheppard and co are in fact themselves a unique kind of replicator duplicates. The meeting towards the episodes end of the real and duplicate team is particularly enjoyable as they fight side by side.

BE ALL MY SINS REMEMBERED sees a united human and Wraith assault on the Replicator home world as well and a very attractive human form replicator F.R.A.N (Michelle Morgan) created by Rodney. The 'friendly' Wraith now called Todd returns as does the nomadic human fleet led by my personal favourite hot babe Larrin (Jill Wagner). There is even an appearance at the end (spoiler alert) by Dr Weir in command of a surviving Replicator ship. This episode could easily serve as a season ending... it's that good!

The final of this three part story is SPOILS OF WAR as we as we find out that the Wraith acquired a number of ZPM's in the previous episode and are breeding an army of Wraith on a birthing planet.

MILLER'S CROSSING
Rodney's sister Jeanie is kidnapped and after returning to Earth Rodney gets kidnapped too. The kidnapper turns out to be the head of a company contracted by the air force to work on one of its scientific projects. After working on what is actually alien technology he has put two and two together and with some industrial spying has found out about the Stargate program. He has used this knowledge to kidnap Rodney and his sister to work on a cure for his dying daughter.

THIS MORTAL COIL
The stargate on Atlantis stops working and at the same time a probe crashes into the city. Sheppard, McKay, Teyla and Ronan are all concerned but the rest of the base don't seem to be acting like themselves. Rodney determines that the gate is not a real stargate at all and they soon come to realise that they are not on the Atlantis that they know but instead it's a replicator duplicate.

BE ALL MY SINS REMEMBER'D
Rodney works together with the Wraith they have befriended to alter the nanite code in an attempt to stop the Replicators. But their efforts are in vain and they decide to use their knowledge to build their own human form replicator to send to the Replicatior home world to infiltrate their command centre and destroy the replicators completely. For the plan to work they need to work with the Wraith and with Larrin's (Jill Wagner) fleet of ships to co-ordinate an attack.

SPOILS OF WAR
Sheppard and Rodney discover a Wraith birthing planet with literally thousands of Wraith in pods and a Queen giving them her genetic code. The birthing facility is being powered by captured ZPM's from the Replicator home world just before it was destroyed and the Wraith ally, now nicknamed Todd, is a prisoner on the birthing planet.
