STAR TREK VOYAGER
Season 5
Kate Mulgrew's Captain Janeway, ably assisted by the increasingly human former Borg Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) and the rest of her crew, pit themselves against the insidious Malon. His industrial waste threatens all life forms around them, including their own people, as well as encountering the dreaded Borg Queen herself, first seen in the movie Star Trek: First Contact, in the spectacular feature length adventure 'Dark Frontier'.
In the epic season finale, the crew of the Voyager discover that they are not the only Starfleet vessel in the Delta Quadrant, as they learn what the crew of the USS Equinox were willing to do to survive.
Star Trek: Voyager Season 5 continues the range's innovative collector's edition packaging and contains over 19 hours of episodes re-mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, as well as brand new featurettes and exclusive interviews with the cast and producers.
Other highlights during the fifth season include the return of Species 8472 in the most unlikely setting, the demotion of Lt Tom Paris (Robert Duncan McNeill) to the rank of Ensign, and the holographic Doctor (Robert Picardo) learning what it means to fall in love.
Seven of Nine's help is requested by a super-intelligent group, in exchange for guidance that could save Voyager from destruction by assassins, while engineer B'Elanna Torres (Roxann Dawson) finds herself attached to an armored alien.
In the series' one hundredth episode, 'Timeless', special guest star LeVar Burton reprises his role of Geordi La Forge from Star Trek: The Next Generation, while Captain Janeway's ancestor's pivotal role in Starfleet history is revealed in '11:59'. And join the holodeck's own superhero, Captain Proton in one of the most unusual hours of Star Trek created.
